Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information.
Last updated: October 19, 2026
B&B Stevedoring Stacking & Shipping (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the choices you have. We are a Liberian-owned company based on Bushrod Island, Monrovia, Liberia.
Information we collect
When you contact us or request a quote
The contact and quotation forms ask for your name, email address and, if you choose, your phone number, company, the service you need, cargo type and volume, vessel details, expected arrival date and your message. We also record the date and the internet (IP) address the form was sent from, to protect the forms against spam and abuse.
We use this information only to answer your enquiry, prepare quotations, provide our services and keep a record of our correspondence with you. We send you an automatic confirmation email with a reference number when you submit a form.
When you subscribe to our newsletter
If you sign up for updates, we keep your email address (and name, if given), the date and the page you signed up from. We use it only to send you news and announcements about our company and services. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the list at any time.
When you browse the website
We count page visits to understand which pages are useful. This is done without cookies: we do not store your IP address, and visits are grouped using an anonymous code that changes every day, so we cannot identify you or follow you across days or other websites. We record the page visited, the referring website, and the general type of device and browser.
When you contact us on WhatsApp or by email
If you use the WhatsApp button or write to us by email, we receive the details you choose to send (such as your phone number, name, and message). WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp LLC (Meta) and its own privacy policy applies.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with our staff who need it to respond to you and provide our services;
- with service providers who help us run the website and send email (our web hosting and email providers), who may only use it on our behalf;
- when required by Liberian law, a court or a public authority, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
Third-party services on this website
- Google Maps shows our location on the homepage and contact page. Google may collect information such as your IP address when the map loads, under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts provides the text styles used on the website; your browser downloads them from Google.
- WhatsApp opens only when you click the WhatsApp button.
How long we keep information
- Enquiries and quotation requests: for as long as needed to deal with your request and our business relationship, and for record-keeping as required by law. We delete them on request when we no longer need them.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address.
- Visit statistics: kept in anonymous form.
- We keep website backups, which include the information above, for a limited time (normally a few weeks) and then delete them automatically.
How we protect information
The website uses secure connections (HTTPS). Access to the admin area is limited to authorised staff with personal passwords, and the forms are protected against misuse. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can unsubscribe from our newsletter with the link in any email. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will reply as soon as possible.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
